Mentoring with an eternal focus
This session will take an honest look at the mentor-mentee relationship in light of eternity. Is our focus where it should be? Together, we will look at biblical examples as well as examples from our own lives at how this has been done well, and sometimes not so well. My hope is that we will walk away with practical, God honoring ways of leading and growing humbly.
Redeeming hope in seasons of grief
Grief and sorrow are part of the human experience. As believers, we are not immune from suffering and hardships that bring both grief and sorrow. In this session, you will hear personal testimonies from women about how the Lord showed His lovingkindness during times of deep despair.
The Gospel in the Wilderness: Lessons from Moses on sharing hope.
Moses gives a sweeping view of both the eternality of God and the temporal nature of the human condition. In this session, we will consider both the holiness of God and the sinfulness of man, as well as God’s provision to bridge the gap. We will learn how to more naturally and effectively share the gospel in addition to considering on-ramps to those conversations in an easy, natural and Spirit led way.
Motherhood in light of the Gospel
How do we make the most of our time with our children? One of the greatest privileges we have as mothers is the opportunity to show our children the majesty of Christ. This session on gospel-focused motherhood will explore ways we can cultivate a love for Jesus in the hearts of our children and live out the gospel every day in our homes.
